I’m making a blog post today about “expert witnessing”. I do a LOT of that. It’s not the only thing I do, but it’s perhaps the thing I’m known best for.

With THAT in mind, it brings back a thought about a really neat interview and article about me on the web site “lawyersandsettlements.com.” The article starts out with the sentence, “The mere mention of Dr. John Kilpatrick’s name can settle litigation.”

Wow…. I’m not kidding. I was floored — really. One of the BIG problems with being a “repeat” expert witness is not letting it go to your head. Attorneys are great at playing mind games, and cross examination can be brutal (and professionally fatal) for a so-called expert who starts emotionally buying-into his own press releases.

All that aside, the article was great. If you want to read it, click here.
