A REALLY Great Book Review!
The Appraisal Journal is the 85-ish year old official publication of the Appraisal Institute. In the interests of full disclosure, I served on its editorial board a few years ago, and continue to serve as an occasional reviewer of peer-reviewed articles.
The current issue includes a very nice review of my book, Real Estate Valuation and Strategy, under the title “Reducing Real Estate Portfolio Risk.” It was a terrifically kind review, and while the reviewer, Warren Klutz, was not 100% in agreement with everything I said, his input was valuable and really influences my thinking for any future updates.
